Break from the snow won't last long

Updated:
INDIANAPOLIS -

The light snow from Wednesday is over, but there is more on the way.

Skies will be mostly cloudy overnight, with lows in the range of 15-20 degrees.  The next round of snow is already moving into NW Illinois and it is moving our way.  There will be light snow possible from 7 a.m. Thursday through 7 a.m. Friday.

By early Friday, an inch or two could be on the ground. A few flurries will linger into Friday afternoon.

There is another round on the way for Saturday.  Right now, we are forecasting the potential of an additional 1-3 inches of snow on Saturday. In addition to snow, the weekend will start cold with lows near 10 and highs in the 20s on Saturday.

The weekend will end with partly cloudy skies and highs in the 30s.
