INDIANAPOLIS -

The Colts are packing up the locker room Monday after Saturday's devastating loss to the Patriots.

New England defeated Indianapolis 43-22, crushing the team's Super Bowl dreams.

Despite the difficult loss, Colts players are already looking back at a successful season and ahead to a promising future.

"It's a tough day for all of us coming in and cleaning your locker out. I think there's only one team that gets to clean their locker out at the end of the year and is happy about it. It was a successful season all in all. We achieved one of our goals. We didn't achieve them all. There'll be a lot of work this off-season to get back and do the right thing next year," said Adam Vinatieri, kicker.

"I can tell you this. Reggie Wayne - as I'm speaking in third person - has never lacked confidence. I'm very, very confident I'll come back better than I was," said Reggie Wayne, wide receiver.

Several Colts players talked about becoming free agents, including Vinatieri.

"I still feel like I can do it at a high enough level. I'd like to be here," he said.

Safety Antoine Bethea added, ""My first time testing the market. I'm kind of excited. I want to finish my career here. But if not, gotta move on."

Punter Pat McAfee feels the same way: "Whenever I was down, this city took me in. I hope to be a Hoosier forevever," he said.

"This season was like an interview process. Now you wait to see what job offers you get," said Donald Brown, running back.

Coming up at 5:50 pm on WTHR, watch our one on one interview with Andrew Luck. Dave Calabro will sit down with the Colts quarterback to talk about this past season and what's in store for next year.
