FRENCH LICK -

State Police arrested 29-year-old Robert Faith Saturday night after he crashed his vehicle and fought with a police officer at the French Lick Casino.

State Trooper Michael Allen and French Lick Police responded to the report of a vehicle hit and run crash just after 8 p.m. Saturday.

Officers arrived and found that Faith has crashed into another vehicle in the parking garage at the casino and was trying to leave the scene.

Indiana Gaming Commission officers found him in his car on another level of the garage and tried to arrest him. Faith resisted arrest, battering one of the Gaming officers, injuring them.

Police searched the vehicle and found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested without further incident and taken to the Orange County jail.
