Ball State junior wide receiver Willie Snead is entering the NFL Draft.
Snead caught set school records catching 106 passes for 1,516 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, helping the Cardinals to a 10-3 record and a berth in the GoDaddy Bowl. His yardage total ranked third in the nation.
"We appreciate Willie's contributions to our program and wish him well as he pursues his dream of competing at the highest level," Ball State head coach Pete Lembo said.@"We have encouraged Willie to formulate a plan to complete his degree requirements."
Snead leaves Ball State ranked second all-time in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches in a career. His 13 100-yard receiving games are the most in school history.
Snead was named to the 2013 All-Mid-American Conference First Team and was a semifinalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award this past season.
