Warm Friday leads to rainy weekend and Flood Warning

INDIANAPOLIS -

Scattered showers will move through Central Indiana today with highs in the mid to upper 50s.  Winds will gust up to 25 mph out of the Southwest.  A Flood Warning is in effect for much of central Indiana. By Sunday morning 2-4″ of rain will be possible for our area.

Today the rain will be light, but keep the rain gear handy.

Rain becomes heavy Saturday, and flooding is possible.  Don't be surprised if you hear rumbles of thunder as well.

Temps fall during the day Sunday, turning rain drops to snowflakes.  By Monday morning a few snow showers are possible with temps only warming into the upper 20s.

As of right now Christmas Eve and Christmas Eve looks dry and sunny, we'll keep you posted if that chances.

Sandbags for Hamilton County residents

Filled sandbags are available free of charge for Hamilton County residents. Hamilton County Emergency Management is making the bags available on a self-serve basis from 3pm-10pm Friday and 7am-10pm Saturday and Sunday at 1717 Pleasant St. in Noblesville.
