Eight people injured in Hamilton County crash

Shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday, Hamilton County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a possible head-on collision with multiple people injured at Southeastern Parkway and Connecticut Avenue in the southeast corner of the county.

When emergency crews arrived, they found one vehicle in the road and another down in a ditch off the road.

Initial investigation by officers at the scene indicated a 17-year-old juvenile from Fishers, driving a black Chrysler 200, was going northeast on Connecticut Avenue when the driver allegedly failed to yield the right of way at the intersection at Southeastern Avenue. The car collided with a white Chevrolet Traverse driven by Bradford Seaman, 31, Noblesville. Emergency crews had to extricate a passenger from the Traverse.

A total of eight people, including several juveniles, were injured in the crash and were taken to area hospitals for treatment. None of the injuries were reported as life threatening.

Crash Team personnel will continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
