INDIANAPOLIS -

Metro Police chased and caught two men Monday morning in a car that was reported carjacked late Sunday night.

Police say a silver Chrysler 300 was reportedly carjacked before 10:00 p.m. Sunday night on Bennett Drive in area of 38th and Moller on the northwest side.  It was later spotted on the far east side where police began pursuit.

The car led police west on Pendleton Pike and Massachusetts Avenue, then north on Central to 30th and New Jersey.  There, two men jumped out and ran south.

Both were caught by K9 officers at 29th and Washington Blvd. and 29th and New Jersey.

Police are looking into whether the same two suspects were involved in another overnight carjacking that involved a Lexus.  Lawrence Police are investigating that incident.
