Jake Purichia ran for two touchdowns, passed for two more and returned a blocked punt to lead Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter to a 56-6 win over Tipton in the Class 2A state football final.
Kyree Hollis had 97 yards and two touchdowns receiving Saturday for the Raiders (13-2), who were last year's runner-up.
Austin Hooker was 4 of 16 passing with four interceptions for Tipton (11-4), which never scored after halftime.
Purichia, who finished with 273 yards on 21 of 31 passing, scored twice rushing and threw a 47-yard TD pass to Hollis to give the Raiders a 21-0 lead in the opening quarter. Purichia scored on a blocked punt recovery and threw a 19-yard score to Hollis to give Ritter a 42-6 advantage by halftime.
