INDIANAPOLIS -

Indianapolis Metro Police say 19-year-old Kenneth Mills-Tucker was shot to death and three others were injured in a car accident that is connected to the shooting.  The other people in the vehicle have been identified as the driver Wayne Wilson, 20, passengers Tarell Davis, 19 and Jalylen Grice, 19, all of Indianapolis.

It happened on the northwest side at about 3 a.m. Saturday.

Officials say that IMPD was setting-up for an unrelated detail and overheard several gunshots in the area of 4200 Moller Rd. Officers immediately went to the area of the gunshots and found an inverted car and three individuals outside of the vehicle.

One person was found lying several feet outside of the car suffering from at least one gunshot wound.  He was transported to Wishard Memorial Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.

The other two individuals were found near the scene and transported to Wishard Memorial Hospital with the complaint of pain only.

A fourth uninjured person, possibly involved, was found moments later near the original crime scene and was detained by police.

Detectives found several shell casings at nearby Three Fountains West apartment complex and believe the shooting may have happened in that parking lot.

The car involved in the accident struck a utility pole that has since been repaired by Indianapolis Power and Light.

Moller Road between Pike Plaza and 46th Street will remain closed to traffic as investigators process the crime scene.

Detectives encourage anyone with information about this incident to call IMPD at 9-1-1.  Callers wishing to remain anonymous are urged to call Crime Stoppers of Indiana at 317|262.TIPS (8477). Callers can also text "INDYCS" plus tip information to 274627(CRIMES).
