Colts' defense trying to plug holes, stop big plays

The Colts defense is moving to prevent mode.
 
Indianapolis has allowed five touchdowns of 30 or more yards during their last three games. On Sunday, the Colts will face Larry Fitzgerald and the surprising Arizona Cardinals.
 
Starting cornerback Greg Toler, backup cornerback Josh Gordy and backup safety Delano Howell are all on track to return this week after injuries kept each out of the last three games. That should help. And Toler's inside knowledge should help, too. He practiced against Fitzgerald until signing with the Colts as a free agent in March,
 
But the more important part may be taking care of the little things such as technique, fundamentals and filling gaps - all things players insist they can fix.
