An Indiana state government spokesman says an AT&T data circuit outage has affected phone calls to 10 state agencies.
Indiana Office of Technology spokesman Graig Lubsen says the outage Wednesday affected call centers but not individual phone lines. He tells The Indianapolis Star the technology office, the State Personnel Department and Indiana State Museum overcame the problem by rerouting calls around the call centers.
Lubsen says the outage was preventing some calls from connecting at seven other agencies. They are the State Department of Health, Integrated Public Safety Commission, Indiana Historical Society, Department of Labor, Public Licensing Agency, Public Employee Retirement Fund and Secretary of State.
He says AT&T was working to repair the circuit.
