Two injured in Hancock County crash

Two people were injured in a crash on I-70 westbound in Hancock County Friday evening.

It happened east of Greenfield near the Henry County line. A semi trailer and a truck pulling a camper collided, resulting in serious damage to the semi's cab. The truck wound up on its roof and the impact of the crash tore the camper into shreds.

Two patients were airlifted to local hospitals. The extent of the two injuries is not known.

The highway was reopened around 10:30 p.m. Friday after crews were able to clean up the crash.
