Investigators from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office are looking into a shooting incident that left one person dead Wednesday night. Shortly after 9:30 p.m., officers were called to assist medics on a possible cardiac arrest at 2700 Cicero Road in Noblesville.
When they arrived, they found a male, later identified as 45-year-old Jesus Armando Martinez-Lopez, lying in the driveway with gunshot wound in the chest from what appeared to be a pellet gun.
Medics rushed Martinez-Lopez to Riverview Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Arrested on preliminary charge of reckless homicide is 19-year-old Jose Luiz Romo.
The investigation is ongoing.
