Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne had surgery on his torn ACL Friday and one of his good friends is tweeting the procedure was a success.
Amp Harris sent this tweet Friday afternoon: "All Reggie Wayne and @Colts fans. Surgery was successful. "Thanks for all of yours prayers" Reggie."
Wayne suffered the season-ending torn ACL Sunday night against the Broncos.
Monday, Coach Chuck Pagano said, "He'll be back. I know how he's wired, I know what his DNA is, I know how he is as a man. Everybody's going to say, 'no way,' but after the conversation I just had with him, just wait and see. We'll all put on the gloves for Reggie and we'll help him get through this and get him back."
Wayne's consecutive games played streak will end at 189.
Reggie Wayne turns 35 November 17.
