Sunday night's Colts-Broncos game on WTHR Channel 13 was the most-watched regular season Colts game in ten years.
The game averaged a 49.1 household rating and 71 in Indianapolis. That means that nearly half of all homes were tuned to the game - nearly 540,000 homes - more than 70 percent of homes that were watching TV.
The game peaked with a 54 rating and an 80 share of the audience. For comparison, the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis peaked with an 84 share.
The game displaces the November 5, 2006 game between the Colts and Patriots, which also aired on Sunday Night Football on WTHR-TV. That game averaged a 47.8 rating and a 61 share.
The game posted higher ratings in Indianapolis than four of the past ten Super Bowls.
