Closing arguments postponed in Camm's 3rd trial

LEBANON, Ind. -

Closing arguments have been pushed back by one day in the case of a former Indiana state trooper charged with killing his wife and two young children in 2000.

Attorneys in the third murder trial of David Camm confirm the closing arguments that had been set for Monday will instead be held Tuesday. Defense attorney Richard Kammen says the judge hasn't completed his final instructions to jurors. The case will go to the jury after closing arguments.

Camm's two previous convictions were overturned on appeal. He has maintained his innocence and says he was playing basketball with other men at the time of the slayings at the Camm home in the Georgetown in southern Indiana.

The trial was moved to Boone County northwest of Indianapolis to find an impartial jury.
