Purdue coach Darrell Hazell is back at work, trying to fix the Boilermakers' struggling offense.
He's trimming the playbook. He's considering adding a new running back in the rotation. He wants to reduce the turnovers and improve third-down conversions. And he expects to see more points.
If it sounds familiar, it should.
Already, Hazell has switched quarterbacks, shuffled the depth chart at receiver and shrunk the playbook. But Purdue (1-5, 0-2 Big Ten) managed only seven points Saturday against Nebraska.
