Inaugural Grand Prix and Indianapolis 500 tickets go on sale today

INDIANAPOLIS -

Tickets for the Inaugural Grand Prix and the 98th Indianapolis 500 go on sale today at 9 AM.

IndyCar Series team owner Sarah Fisher will be working the ticket counter at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) selling tickets to fans.

She will also be giving rides on area streets in a street-legal two-seater Indy car to 20 lucky randomly selected customers in the morning.

The new Grand Prix is the first road-course event at IMS for the IndyCar Series, May 10, 2014.  The Indy 500 will follow on Sunday, May 25th.

The IMS ticket office is located at 16th & Georgetown Road or fans can buy tickets online or by phone.
