INDIANAPOLIS -

Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating four people shot in three different locations early Sunday morning.  It all happened in less than hour.

At around 2:25 a.m. IMPD officers were dispatched to 1236 West 31st Street on a disturbance and a person shot. When they arrived they found a female with a gunshot wound. She was transported to Wishard Hospital in critical condition.

At about the same time,  IMPD officers were in the area of 1200 West 31st Street when they heard several gunshots.  As officers were searching for the source of the shots fired, they encountered two males who led them on a short foot chase.

Both suspects were caught. One of the suspects had a gun in his possession.

The two suspects are being interviewed by detectives to determine whether they were involved in this incident.

Then, about a half hour later, officers responded to shots fired at the address of Suite 38 Night Club at 5150 W. 38th Street. 

Officers working off-duty employment outside of the night club witnessed the shooting and apprehended a suspect.

One male shooting victim was taken to Wishard Hospital in critical condition.

A female victim was treated on the scene and released by medics after being injured by a stray bullet.

Detectives are gathering facts and interviewing witnesses. The suspect is being held and potential criminal charges are pending.

Another victim is in critical condition after being shot in the downtown area at about 3:10 a.m. Sunday.  The victim was found in a parking lot in the area of 100 S. Meridian Street, which is near the intersection of Maryland and Meridian Streets.

The 30-year-old man was transported to Wishard Hospital in critical condition.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are under investigation and detectives have very little information at this time.
