The Indianapolis Colts signed running back Dan Herron and linebacker Andy Studebaker to their active roster Wednesday.
Herron replaced Ahmad Bradshaw, who was placed on the season-ending injured reserve list Wednesday because of a neck injury.
The 5-foot-10, 212-pound Herron had been on the Bengals practice squad. Herron was Cincinnati's sixth-round draft pick in 2012 draft. He had five carries for five yards and blocked a punt as a rookie.
Studebaker played in 70 games, starting eight with Kansas City, from 2008 to 2012. The 6-foot-3, 248-pound free agent had career totals of 51 tackles, 2½ sacks and two interceptions before he was released by the Chiefs in April.
