Tipton County officials say two cars collided head-on Saturday night, killing both drivers and injuring a passenger.
The Tipton County Communications Center received a call at just after 10:30 Saturday morning reporting a serious vehicle crash on CR 300 S, West of CR 100 E.
Crews arrived at the location northeast of Tipton, finding a 1997 Cadillac and a 2001 Mercury Marquis had collided nearly head on.
Both drivers died instantly: Ryan A. Teter, 32, Tipton, and Donnie K. Neal, 62, Greenfield.
A passenger in the Mercury Marquis, Brenda K. Murray, 63, Greenfield, was transported to IU Tipton Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Investigators say the Cadillac was eastbound and the Mercury was westbound.
Teter was not belted, but both Neal and Murray were. Airbags deployed in both vehicles.
The Tipton County Sheriff's Department is conducting the investigation into this crash with assistance from the Indiana State Police.
Also assisting at the scene were Seals Ambulance, Cicero Township Fire Department, Madison Township Fire Department, and Tipton County Emergency Management.
