The Indianapolis Colts made a major trade to pick up help at running back Wednesday afternoon.
The Colts obtained Trent Richardson from Cleveland for a first round pick next year. Richardson, the Browns' first-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, rushed for 950 yards and 11 touchdowns in his rookie season. He has carried the ball 31 times for 105 yards in two games this season, but has not found the end zone.
The running back position became a point of need for the Colts when starter Vick Ballard was lost to an ACL injury.
