Police have released surveillance video from a pair of unsolved robberies possibly committed by the same suspect.

Detectives say an unknown male robbed the CVS Pharmacy at 8935 E. 21st Street on July 31. The next morning, a robbery occurred at the Family Dollar at 2130 North Central Avenue. Police believe the same suspect committed both robberies.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man in his mid- to late-20s, standing about 5'9" tall, weighing 160-170 pounds, with braids in his hair. The suspect was wearing a white baseball cap with a red bill and lettering on the front, a white t-shirt, blue jeans and black high-top tennis shoes.

A vehicle believed to be used in the first robbery is described as a 2009-10 white, large-body Chrysler with a partial license plate number of 301M.
