After freelancing with WTHR for a year, Sean officially joined the SkyTrak Weather Team September 2013 as the Sunday 6pm/11pm and Monday-Thursday 5:30pm forecaster.   He came back to Indianapolis after working three years at WXYZ-TV in Detroit, MI where he was awarded "Best Weathercast" in 2009 and 2010 by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters. 

Sean is no stranger to central Indiana, as you may remember his work at WISH-TV from 2000 to 2008.  During that time Sean covered a host of important weather events including:

- deadly Evansville tornado November 2005

- record breaking December 23-23, 2004 snowstorm 

- aftermath of Hurricane Charley 2004

- May 30, 2004 Race Day Tornado Outbreak

- September 20, 2002 long track Indiana tornado

Sean says the highlight of his career was capturing eleven tornadoes in only ninety minutes while storm chasing with Ball State University for his Emmy-nominated report "Chasing Danger" on May 24, 2004. 

Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Sean received his B.S. in Geography/Meteorology from Western Kentucky University, where he also began his broadcasting career as a weather anchor at WKBO-TV in Bowling Green, KY.  His first full time forecasting job was in Chattanooga, TN.  He is a certified by the National Weather Association since April of 2000.

Personal:  Married, one child: daughter Sophia, live in Indianapolis.  Took the Polar Plunge twice at Eagle Creek after emceeing Special Olympics charity event.
