Darrell Hazell wants Purdue to have a new attitude on its sideline this week.
He's asking players to get rid of the shocked looks he noticed during Saturday's 42-7 loss at Cincinnati.
While some players acknowledged there was a sense of "here we go again," Hazell has already made it clear that can't happen again if Purdue (0-1) is going to change directions this season.
After meeting with the team captains, Hazell told reporters Tuesday he expects them to help the Boilermakers understand the old way of thinking won't work anymore. Purdue is home Saturday against Indiana State (0-1), which lost 73-35 at Indiana last weekend.
