INDIANAPOLIS -

Storms moved through central Indiana Saturday evening, prompting a severe thunderstorm watch until 11:00 p.m. along with severe thunderstorm warnings.  By 10 p.m. though, watches for most central Indiana counties had been canceled.

Several central Indiana counties reported a downed tree, downed power lines or a lightning strike that sparked a fire.

IPL and Duke had several thousand without power during the storms.  By 2 a.m. Sunday, less than 6,000 customers remained without power - most of those in southern Indiana.
