Approaching storms cause evacuations at Friday events

Updated:
NOBLESVILLE -

Thunderstorms moving into Boone County have caused the evacuation of at least two events Friday night.

Concert goers at Symphony on the Prairie and fans at the Hamilton Southeastern-Fishers football game were sent to their cars due to the threat of storms.

Doppler 13 radar showed the storms about 40 miles from southern Hamilton County when the evacuations occurred. Games in several other locations also experienced delays due to lighting.

There have been no severe weather watches or warnings issued for the area at this time.
