The 20th running of the Brickyard 400 is just a few days away and we're starting to see what has become synonymous with the race: drivers raising money for their favorite charities.
Tuesday afternoon, John Andretti hosted his annual Kroger Race for Riley in New Castle.
On Thursday, Jeff Gordon hosts his annual Hats off to Hope Bowling Tournament. Proceeds go to Riley Hospital for Children.
Qualifying for the Brickyard 400 takes place Saturday, July 27. For the entire Brickyard weekend schedule, click here.
Indianapolis Motor Speedway officials say they'll more than double the number of entrance lanes to the track to avoid the long lines and delays fans experienced at the Indy 500 in May.
Speedway officials have also hired more workers with experience with crowd flow and control so that they can better direct fans to entrances.
Looking for parking? Be aware the Town of Speedway will once again implement a residential parking permit program for Brickyard 400 weekend.
