AEG disputes how much Michael Jackson would have made on tour

Updated:
LOS ANGELES -

How much money would Michael Jackson have made during his comeback tour? Like most questions in the case in which Jackson's family is suing concert promoter AEG Live, the answer is in dispute.

Documents displayed for the jury yesterday challenged testimony made by an accountant the day before. Arthur Erk said he estimated Jackson could have earned more than $1 billion including merchandise sales, endorsement deals and the creation of a Las Vegas show. But AEG's estimates say Jackson would have earned $132 million for his shows.

AEG is denying the premise behind the lawsuit - that it is liable for Jackson's death because it didn't do its due diligence in hiring the doctor who treated Jackson.

Dr. Conrad Murray was convicted of giving the pop star a fatal dose of the anesthetic propofol.
