Indiana Governor Mike Pence is asking Hoosiers how the state government can cut red tape.
On Friday, the governor's office announced the launch of a new website designed to achieve that goal.
The Cut Red Tape site allows Hoosiers to submit ideas on how existing regulations could be simplified or eliminated to streamline business rules.
According to the governor, there are over 11,000 pages of state regulations on the books today.
The governor believes Indiana residents can "lend critical insight and perspective about burdensome and unnecessary regulations that may impede hiring and increase costs for businesses in Indiana."
Pence's Executive Order 13-03, signed on his first day in office, called for a moratorium on new regulations, excluding rules needed for emergencies, health or safety reason, in Indiana until existing regulations could be reviewed by the Office of Management and Budget.
