INDIANAPOLIS -

The nation's only live call-in show about a state's history has developed a small but loyal following in Indianapolis.

"Hoosier History Live!" airs on WICR-FM at the University of Indianapolis and is hosted by author and former journalist Nelson Price. Its guests have included former Indianapolis Mayor William Hudnut and covered topics from the Blizzard of '78 to Jewish heritage and Indiana connections to Thomas Edison.

The five-year-old program has aired more than 250 shows.

The show airs live from noon to 1 p.m. ET each Saturday on WICR 88.7 FM in Indianapolis.

Producer Molly Head tells the Indianapolis Business Journal she would love to find a home for the show at additional stations around the state. So far, "Hoosier History Live!" has about 1,000 listeners.
