The Brickyard 400 will be known by a new name this year.
Crown Royal held a contest to name the race after an American hero.
Samuel Deeds was just announced as the winner. This year, Indy's NASCAR race will be known as the Samuel Deeds 400 at the Brickyard.
Deeds risked his life to save fellow Marines from an improvised explosive device in Iraq. He was severely injured and needed more than thirty surgeries after the bomb blast.
His wife nominated him for the contest and online voters selected Deeds from a list of finalists.
