IndyCar drivers taking test spins around Pocono Raceway are giving high praise to the tri-oval as they prepare for the return of the open-wheel series to the northeastern Pennsylvania track.
Graham Rahal says the Tricky Triangle, with its three distinct turns and long straightaways, is fun and keeps the attention of drivers because it's so different from other venues. Ryan Hunter-Reay says he's looking forward to the challenge of setting up the car just right for the unique track.
Hunter-Reay is nine points behind Helio Castroneves on the driver leaderboard. Both drivers were among more than a dozen who took part in Tuesday's test in preparation for the July 7 race.
IndyCar is returning to Pocono for the first time since 1989, when Danny Sullivan took the checkered flag.
