INDIANAPOLIS -

The WTHR family has sad news to report.

One of our coworkers has passed away. Fifty-eight-year-old Amy Grause of Lebanon had been battling cancer.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her husband Bob and family. She is survived by daughters Katie Grause and Cara Grause Gifford and three granddaughters; Jaycee, Kaelie and Mady.

"Amy has worked with us since 2008, in fact her anniversary date was just  last Sunday. It would be difficult to find a more caring, sweeter person than Amy Grause. Always willing to lend a helping hand. She will be sorely missed by all those she touched on a daily basis," said Sales Manager Tim Warner.

Amy enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, camping, and served as a Girl Scout leader in her daughters' middle and high school years.  Her caring nature inspired joy for so many who were touched by her presence in their lives.

"Amy Grause was a kind and gentle soul that showed tremendous courage throughout her battle with cancer. We've all learned how to speak a little softer and be a little kinder from Amy's example. She will be terribly missed," added another colleague.

Amy was part of the WTHR family for five years. She worked as an administrative assistant for the WTHR Sales Team. She also worked at GTE/Verizon in Westfield for 20 years.

A Memorial Mass will be conducted by Fr. Timothy Kroeger on at 11 a.m., Saturday. June 29, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 E. South St, Lebanon, IN, with visitation for one hour before the service.   All are invited to a reception in the church hall afterwards.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Boone County Cancer Society, 117 W Elm St, Lebanon, IN 46052; or No Stomach For Cancer, Inc., PO   Box 46070, Madison, WI 53711.
