13-Minute Meals with Chef Suzanne: Miso marinaded pork chops

Miso Marinade with pork chops

2 tablespoons miso paste
2 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup citrus (can be orange juice, lime juice, lemon juice)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons cilantro
2 teaspoons ginger

4 6-8 ounce center cut pork chops

Combine all ingredients.  Marinade can be made a day early.  Place pork chops in marinade 30-60 minutes prior to grilling.  A good rule of thumb with any marinade is to marinate an hour per inch of meat.  Do not marinate chops overnight; the acid in the citrus will begin to cook the chops. Grill to 155 degrees.
