The parents of an Indiana soldier who died in a car crash after struggling with post-traumatic stress syndrome says there are thousands more veterans like their son who need help.

Tyler Armacost served 16 months in Iraq and struggled to cope with injuries and anxiety after returning home. He was killed in a car accident in March near the Kentucky-Tennessee border.

His parents believe the stress of his military experience and medication he took to help him cope were factors.

Scott Armacost tells the Daily Journal he wants to find ways to help other veterans returning from war. He hopes to get involved with the Wounded Warriors project or other groups that help veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder.
