NBC unveils fall line-up

NEW YORK -

NBC is gearing up for a big fall of television. The network gave us a sneak peek of its new upcoming shows.

NBC hopes to recapture some past Thursday night glory this fall. "The Michael J. Fox Show" is one of several family-focused comedies planned for the night.

"It's a family show, and not simply 'aw, shucks' family show. And I think it's relatable," said Fox.

"Will and Grace" alum Sean Hayes also returns to Thursdays. He plays the divorced dad of a teen daughter in "Sean Saves the World," a show that inherits "The Office" time slot.

NBC's extending the family theme by moving "Parenthood" to Thursdays at 10:00 pm.

"It's a night where, as a family, you'll laugh and you'll cry," said Lauren Graham,

NBC's new dramas include "Ironside" with Blair Underwood starring as a paralyzed detective.

"As a man, he's very ornery, very in your face, very politically incorrect," said Underwood.

Another new drama, "The Blacklist," features James Spader as a world renown criminal trying to help the FBI.

"He seems to have fun getting into trouble," said Spader.

While primetime was the focus of today's up front presentation, there was a lot of focus on the new host of "Late Night", Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers.

Advertisers filled Radio City Music Hall today for a preview of NBC's new season. Viewers get to pass judgment come this fall.
