A semi crash Thursday night kept southbound Interstate 65 closed at Lebanon throughout the night. Traffic diverted at the Sheridan-Thorntown exit and detours through Lebanon took approximately 45 minutes.
The road re-opened shortly after 4:30 a.m.
The semi lost control near the State Road 32 exit around 8:15 p.m. Thursday and took out approximately a quarter mile of guardrail before flipping down an embankment.
Boone County authorities said the semi driver was not seriously hurt, and released at the scene by medics.
The road has been closed throughout the night while INDOT replaces the guardrail and cleans up fuel spilled by the truck.
