What a great situation for the Indiana Pacers!

Indiana's defense gave the Knicks all kinds of problems in Game 1. The Pacers have a size advantage and it was obvious in the opener.
The Pacers were very physical and dominated the glass. Indiana outrebounded New York 44-30.
The Pacers had five players in double figures and never seemed intimidated playing on the big stage at Madison Square Garden. Backup point Guard DJ Augustin stepped up, scoring 16 points in 13 minutes.
Indiana went through a quick workout on Monday. They know the Knicks will come out on the attack Tuesday night.
The next two games are back here in Indy. Game 3 is Saturday night at 8 pm, Game 4 is Tuesday May 14.
