Conservation officers recovered a body from a pond in Grant County Thursday.
Officers say a Grant County man was mowing Wednesday evening, but did not return to his house. Family members searched for the man, who has not been identified, but were unsuccessful. The family then notified police.
Conservation officers and sheriff's deputies located tracks in the man's yard that led to a steep bank over a pond. A Department of Natural Resources diver was able to locate and recover the body of the missing individual.
Police believe the man mowed too close to the edge of the pond and that alcohol may have played a factor.
