BIRDSEYE, Ind. -

Indiana Conservation officers say they have recovered the bodies of two men from a southern Indiana reservoir after their boat capsized.

Conservation Officer Joe Haywood says the bodies of 23-year-old Matt Buroker of Evansville and 22-year-old Ryan Dowdell of Winslow were pulled out of Patoka Reservoir in DuBois County, about 75 miles northeast of Evansville, late Sunday afternoon.

The search began about 10:15 p.m. Saturday after fishermen at Hoosier Hills Marina heard cries for help and called 911. A boater pulled two men from the water, but could not find the other two. Authorities say the water temperature was about 45 degrees.

Haywood said the bodies were found using sonar and an underwater camera and were recovered by divers.

Authorities say they don't know what caused the boat to capsize.
