Two hospitalized after chemical spill on Indianapolis southwest side

INDIANAPOLIS -

Two people were hospitalized after exposure to a chemical spill on the Indianapolis southwest side.

Police say the chemical was a red pigment used in paint. Exposure can cause breathing trouble.

It happened at 5940 Decatur Boulevard at Concentra Medical Center and FedEx Freight. The Wayne Township Fire Department Hazmat unit assisted the Decatur Township Fire Department.
