INDIANAPOLIS -

Metro police are piecing together a stabbing that the victim said happened on Lafayette Road early Wednesday morning.  A man in his mid-twenties told officers he was robbed by two men and stabbed around 4:00 a.m.

The man apparently left the station at the corner of Lafayette and Tibbs, and his girlfriend called 911 from a house on Moreland, south of the gas station.

An ambulance took the man to Wishard with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspects are described as Hispanic men, one wearing a white shirt and green jeans, carrying a knife.
