Matt HasselbeckThe Colts have reportedly found a new backup quarterback for Andrew Luck.
Eyewitness News has learned the Colts will sign former Tennessee Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck to a two-year contract. The deal is reportedly worth $8 million.
ESPN NFL analyst Adam Schefter also reported the deal on Twitter Monday evening.
Hasselbeck, 37, played in just eight games for the Titans last season after playing in all 16 games in 2011. He spent ten years as Seattle's quarterback, leading the Seahawks to Super Bowl XL in Detroit, where they lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 21-10.
The Boston College graduate has thrown for nearly 35,000 yards in his 14-year career and has thrown 201 touchdowns compared to 147 interceptions.
