Billie Joe Armstrong is back - and it seemed like he was never away when Green Day launched into their performance at the South by Southwest Music Festival.
It's only the second time the group has performed since Armstrong finished a rehab stint that forced the band to put off an arena tour. Armstrong didn't mention his situation when he took the stage with his group on Friday night.
He tried to rally the crowd, shouting out "This ain't no (expletive) cafe!" - and urged the audience to "Get crazy!"
Back in September, Armstrong went a little crazy, having an on-stage meltdown at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Two days later, the group announced Armstrong was off to rehab.
