Indianapolis Power and Light has dispatched crews, but have not reported a cause yet.
WTHR has received reports of outages in the area of Mitthoffer Road and Washington Street, including Washington Square Mall. Other viewers have reported outages along Washington Street as far west as Emerson Avenue and as far east as German Church Road.
Drivers in the area are asked to use caution, since stop lights are also out. Several accidents have been reported in the area.
