INDIANAPOLIS -

Indiana State Police say a head-on collision on I-65  early this morning was likely caused by a driver going the wrong way on the interstate.

The two vehicles collided on I-65 north bound near Pennsylvania Street downtown.  It happened near mile marker 113.  Police were called to the scene around 3:15 a.m. Saturday.

The accident is still under investigation, but State Police say they do suspect one driver was going the wrong way on the interstate.
