LED screen collapses before Miami festival

Posted: Updated:
MIAMI -

If this had happened tonight instead of yesterday evening, it could have been far worse.

Organizers say a large LED screen being set up for the Ultra Music Festival in downtown Miami collapsed. Several people were injured trying to erect the screen - including two who ended up at a trauma center, one in critical condition.

The incident came the day before the event in Bayfront Park - where the festival will run this weekend and next. Among those who are to perform include David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5, and Snoop Lion.
