Two open houses on Ohio River Bridges Project

Posted: Updated:
LOUISVILLE -

Two open houses are scheduled for the public to learn more about the construction of a bridge between Utica, Ind., and Prospect, Ky.

The Courier-Journal reports there's a meeting Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. EDT at Springdale Community Church in Louisville. There's another set for Wednesday at the same time at the John Nobel Woods Utica Community Center in Utica.

There will be information about the bridge's construction schedule, design, environmental aspects and traffic issues.

The bridge is part of the Ohio River Bridges Project, which also involves a major overhaul of an interstate exchange in downtown Louisville.
