East side stabbing leaves one critical

INDIANAPOLIS -

Police are still looking for a suspect in an early morning stabbing that left one person in critical condition.

The incident took place about 4:45 a.m. Saturday in the 8100 block of East 36th Place.

Officials say Oscar Medina is in critical condition at Methodist Hospital.

Medina was stabbed while sitting in the passengers seat of a SUV parked in front of the residence. Police are looking for Jaime Elbedes, a cousin of Medina's, for questioning in the stabbing.
